Luminaria Nights are Tubac’s annual celebration of the Holiday Season! The streets are lined with luminaries and the stores are open until 9 PM. Join us at sunset for luminarias, amazing art, and live music!
Tubac will hold its annual Luminaria Nights, a village-wide celebration of the holiday spirit, from dusk until 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec _ and Saturday, Dec _.
Thousands of lights will be on display throughout the historic artist colony, along with merchant-sponsored musical venues, food, drinks, artist receptions and special events. Holiday carolers, carriage and hay rides, and a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Friday round out the two-day celebration.
Luminaria, or farolitos, are traditional Mexican Christmas lanterns made of a candle set in sand inside a paper bag.
The chamber, which sponsors Luminaria Nights, said to dress warmly, wear comfortable shoes for walking and added a flashlight might be useful.

You’re invited to a Luau at the summer’s end put on a flowered shirt come celebrate with friends. There will be a pig roast and a Hawaiian feast, grass skirts and leis a limbo contest and music a Great Hawaiian Soiree!

We feature some excellent local bands, with live music and dancing on Saturday nights. Sometimes we even have bands on Fridays and Sundays so be sure and sign up for the newsletter so you always know what’s on tap.
